Aircraft Component & Rotable Warranty Protocols

Centralized Coordination

All warranty support and auditing are handled directly through LBJ Aviation unless otherwise agreed in writing at the exact time of sale.

MRO & Repair Work Coverage

Component coverage for repaired or overhauled units applies exclusively to the specific work performed by the original Part 145 repair station as specified in the overhaul release documentation.

Exclusion Limits

Extended or cosmetic modifications that are not part of the initial, certified overhaul scope of work are excluded unless explicitly noted in your custom-drafted sales contract.

Return Authorization and Recertification Terms

Because airworthiness paperwork and trace integrity cannot be compromised, returns of safety-critical components are managed under strict conformity checklists:

  • 30-Day Return Window

Returns are accepted within 30 days of the invoice date, subject to strict verification of serial numbers and trace documentation.

  • Restocking & Recertification Fees

Returned items are subject to standard restocking fees, plus any applicable recertification or testing fees required to verify component airworthiness.

  • Cost Exclusions

LBJ Aviation is not responsible for removal, installation, freight, international customs duties, labor, or other incidental or consequential operational costs.

*Important: Returned components must arrive in the exact condition they were shipped, accompanied by their original, untampered documentation packages, FAA Form 8130-3 tags, and unbroken static-safe ESD seals.
